Results of Personality Test
Hello people! Here's the results for the personality test that She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named took last week during one of our favourite lessons!
Prof Hooi and I asked She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named kindly to pick the best 5 names that she likes from the list below. We did not tell her that she was in fact, picking the names of her future husbands.
Abu Darbi
Bob
Chapteh
Darjeeling
Eunuge
Fundi
Guitaravas
Hairy Potter
Indiana Jones
Jonas
Krunchie
Lucky
Marni
Neeny
Otello
Plaza
Queue-up-please
Rent-please
Samy
Tallie
Underarm
Vivavoom
Wash
X-factor
Yellowdirtyfellow
Zebra
She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named chose:
Bob
Hairy Potter
Indiana Jones
Jonas
Samy
Prof Hooi's analysis:
From She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's choices, we can tell that she is simple minded because the name of the man of her dreams can only have one syllable. She has a fetish for hair, and pottery. She dreams of wondering through the jungle with Indiana Jones. She loves Rensyn so much that she likes the hair of Nick Jonas. The name of her favourite employer's kid starts with S.
Prof Nicole's analysis:
From She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's results, it is clearly shown that she likes males with simple and easy to pronounce names, such as Bob and Samy. This is probably due to her inability to master the English language. She seems to enjoy the company of famous people. In short, She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's future husband will be famous and his name would be something easy to pronounce.
We will be conducting an IQ test probably next week during our favourite lesson. Until then, do your Bio Gene Expression tutorial up to question 2 (for discussion tomorrow) and wait patiently for the next update(:
By the way, Prof Hooi has set up Maria Diaries on Livejournal to document Maria's daily life. It is not updated yet though. Keep watching that space! mariadiaries.livejournal.com
Cheers! Let's see how many more goals Liverpool can bang past Singapore. It's 5-0 at the moment :D

preview!
I am here to revive the blog! Got quite sick of looking at the cancelled sabbaticals post :(
Anyway, here's a preview of what i'll be posting soon, when i have the time and patience to transfer photos from my camera and phone into the computer.
1. The Maid
2. The Chronicles of Maria:
- "The Filipino's Niece"
- "The Maria, the iPhone, and the Discoveries"
- "The Maid Maria"
- "The Voyage of Maria"
- "The Silver Maria" (meaning old lah for those who don't get it HAHAHA)
- "The Employer and her Maid"
- "The Last Cleaning"
3. The Dark Maid
4. Maria Transforms: Revenge of the Maid
5. The Maria Diaries
6. Maria Motter and the Half-Blood Maid
7. X-Maid Origins: Maria
8. Maria vs. Dirt
9. Marianator Salvation: The Clean Future Begins
10. 20th Century Maria
*Note: all the above titles bear no resemblance to the respective adaptations, ie The Maid (a Kelvin Tong film by the same name), Chronicles of Narnia, The Dark Knight, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, The Princess Diaries, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Monsters vs. Aliens, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins and 20th Century Boys. If coincidences are found, they are well, purely coincidental.
Alright. The list can go on, but obviously i'm exaggerating. I don't have the photos and stories to post all of the above. But i'll see what i can do.
Some good news: no chemistry ISP quiz this week!
Bad news (for me): i'm so prepared to get chopped into a million pieces.
Cheers(:

no more sabbaticals to look forward to
Dear JC1 students
To minimize the potential risk of Influenza A H1N1 infection, the school has decided to postpone the JC1 Sabbaticals (7-8 July, Wed-Thu) to a later date in Oct.
As the JC2 Block Tests will still be on, we face an acute shortage of rooms to run the JC1 timetable. To overcome this constraint, we have decided to implement our home-based E-learning modules for all JC1 students.
Your teachers will be giving you further instructions. Please note the following points:
- All JC1 students will gain access to the learning materials from home via the Internet. You are strongly advised to stay home and follow the online lessons.
- Lessons will follow your regular time-table according to the respective time slots. This is to facilitate real-time forum discussions by subject tutors, and that you complete your work assignment on time. Your respective subject tutors will inform you on the details of the lessons by end of the week.
- Students are expected to produce all the assigments, and you will have access to the materials in Hwa Chong's Intelligent School Portal (ISP). Students with no access to computers or the Internet may use the Computer Lab E306 (8 am to 5 pm). Alternatively, you may loan out lap-tops from the school, subject to availability. Please see our IT technical officers for advice.
Thank you. Please contact your Civics tutors if you have any query. Happy learning.
Regards
Chan Kwok Leong
