Dear JC1 students,
Registration for the following exchange programme with the Philippine Science High School Main Campus (PSHS) is now open.
The details of the exchange programme are as follows:
When: 15-21 November 2009
Where: Philippines, Quezon City
Cost: $100 (the remainder of the cost of the exchange programme will be subsidised by the school)
The Philippine Science High School Main Campus is the top school for Mathematics and Science in the Philippines. The highlights of the exchange programme include:
1) A weekend trip to North Luzon, an island famed for its historical, cultural and scenic heritage.
2) The opportunity to travel, experience different cultures and meet new friends overseas.
3) Basking in the mega malls that the Philippines is famed for.
4) Trying all sorts of new and interesting cuisines.
5) A chance to experience campus life in another country.
Students involved in this exchange programme must be able to host their Philippine counterparts in the 2010 return exchange, as a homestay.
